Use Chocolate as a Gift for Your Wedding Guests

Although they may not seem to be the ideal wedding gift for guests, it is surprising just how popular edible wedding favors can be! Whether you opt for sweet or savory items you and your guests are likely to enjoy them. One of the most popular is a simple chocolate bar with a personalized wrapper. I haven’t come across many people that won’t eat chocolate in any of its varieties especially if it has a special flavored center. By having the chocolate outer wrapping specially designed to include the bride and grooms details, it adds a special touch to the gift.

If you are going as far as personalizing the wrapper, then why not have your picture printed on the wrapper to really impress your guests! Why not have a tin filled with different types of candy as your edible wedding favor to your guests. By having the date, time and location of the wedding on the candy tin it makes it something that the guest will want to keep. The great thing about using tins is they last long after the wedding day is over and can be used as a place to put your small items such as paper clips to other stationery items for example. Most people will tuck into an edible wedding favor even if they do not normally eat candy because the occasion makes them more susceptible.

By using a large glass bowl in the center of every table, the bride and groom can fill them with their own choices of candy for everyone to share. If you want to go one step further, why not find a presentation box or container that matches the wedding and leave one for each guest to use. This way each guest can put whatever candies they like in the container and take it home when they leave the reception. Although not as popular as other edible wedding favors, cookies can have just as much appeal when they are presented properly. By using plain cookies, it is easy to present them in a nice box with the bride and grooms names plus the date and location of the wedding.

There are many bakeries that can make these cookies for you in a variety of sizes and shapes; you just simply need to select a design and give the bakery a photo to use in the design process. Edible wedding favors can also come in the form of teas, coffees and cocoa for something a little more sophisticated. You don’t have to offer the normal ranges either as there are so many specialty types available from around the world that it will look as if you have gone out of your way to provide something different. Just like the previous ideas, personalizing the package with the bride and grooms picture just completes the gift. Perhaps these suggestions will help you decide what favors you will give to your guests.
